ILMS Fundraiser FAQ

What is ILMS?
ILMS stands for I Love My School! It is FORES PTO's major fall fundraiser and one of the most fun traditions of the year.

How does the ILMS Fundraiser work?

FORES families volunteer to host fun events and parties throughout the school year. The hosts donate the party by covering the associated costs, and the PTO sells tickets for families to attend. 100% of ticket-sale proceeds go directly to FORES PTO.

Families can also support ILMS by making direct donations on behalf of a student.

What is the Color Stampede, and how does it relate to ILMS?
The Color Stampede is our FREE family kickoff celebration for the ILMS Fundraiser! Join us for a color run followed by a foam party, food trucks, music, and lots of family fun.

Who can host an ILMS party?
Any FORES family! You can host on your own or team up with friends to host together.
Hosts provide the location, food, drinks, activities, entertainment, and any other costs associated with the event. There are no reimbursements—the party itself is your donation to FORES PTO!

What kinds of parties can I host?
Almost anything! Parties can be for kids, adults, or the whole family. Past ideas might include cookie decorating, Nerf battles, pool parties, movie nights, craft parties, adult beverage tastings, and more.
Get creative—the possibilities are endless!

Where can I host a party?
Almost anywhere! Parties may be held at homes, parks, restaurants, bowling alleys, pools, movie theaters, gymnastics centers, play places, or other local venues.

When do ILMS parties happen?
ILMS parties take place throughout the school year, from fall through the end of the year.
Some party dates may not be finalized when tickets initially go on sale. The party host will communicate the final event details directly to ticket holders.

When do tickets go on sale?
ILMS ticket sales open September 25 through the FORES PTO website.
Popular parties can sell out quickly, so if you see one your family wants to attend, don't wait!

How do I buy tickets?
Browse the available ILMS parties on the PTO website, select the party you'd like to attend, and purchase the appropriate number of tickets.

There are no physical tickets. Once your purchase is complete, your name will be added to the event's guest list. The host will contact attendees with event details.

I'm hosting. Do I have to sell my own tickets?
Nope! PTO handles the ticket sales for you.
You simply sign up to host and provide us with the details of your party. PTO will create the event listing, promote your party, and manage ticket sales.

What if I don't know the party host?
That's totally okay—and part of the fun! ILMS parties are a great way to meet other FORES families and make new friends. You don't need to personally know the host to purchase a ticket.

What if parties aren't really my thing? Can I still participate?
Absolutely! Families can also support ILMS through direct donations.
Friends, family members, grandparents, neighbors, and others can donate through the ILMS donation page. Donors can designate a FORES student to receive credit toward fundraiser incentives.

IMPORTANT: The donation link is not personalized to each student. The donor must enter the student's information during the donation process for that student to receive credit.

What happens if I buy a party ticket and later can't attend?

We understand—plans change! Please let us know as soon as possible if you're unable to attend. Depending on the type of party and how much advance notice we receive, PTO and/or the ticket holder may be able to find another buyer or arrange for the ticket to be donated to another FORES family. Because each party is different, we can't guarantee that tickets can always be transferred, resold, or refunded.

Are tickets per family or per student?

Great question - this will depend on the party and be made clear in the party details. For example, a party might say "$30 per student" or "$30 per family".

Can my student earn prizes?
Yes! Students can earn prizes and incentives based on their ILMS participation/credit.
 Credits are earned by:

  • Hosting an ILMS party

  • Purchasing tickets/attending ILMS parties

  • Donations made on their behalf

Where does the money raised through ILMS go?
ILMS is a critical part of the FORES PTO annual budget. Funds raised help PTO support our school through areas such as:

  • Innovative technology and educational resources

  • Teacher grants and classroom supplies

  • Student and family events

  • School programs and enrichment

  • Campus improvements

  • Strategic and long-term projects

Ultimately, the money raised through ILMS goes right back into supporting our students, teachers, and FORES community.
